In 1723, Late Shri Bhavsinhji Maharaj declare Bhavngar as State. At the time of independence, Late Shri Krishnakumar Sinhji, Maharaja of Bhavnagar state, handed over the state to Government to join Indian union. This was the first memorable step in india.
